CEDARBURG CULTURAL CENTER’S ANNUAL

“PAINT YOUR ART OUT”

February 7th from 10am to 5pm

Join us at Cedarburg Cultural Center, located at:

W62 N546 Washington Avenue, Cedarburg, WI 53012.

Works created during the Live Painting Event will be available by silent auction throughout the exhibit duration of February 7 through March 22.

THE LITTLE SHOW: CCC’s ANNUAL JURIED EXHIBIT

Opening reception and awards ceremony: Thursday, February 12 from 5-8pm

The CCC’s Annual Juried Exhibit is a premier fundraising exhibit and sale for the non-profit Cedarburg Cultural Center.

Five of my custom made batik works of art (framed with maple wood) will be on display.

FUN NATURALLY INSPIRED PROJECTS

EASY PHOTO TRANSFERS ON WOOD

Easy Photo Transfer on Wood

If you are looking for a fun DIY project this Winter season, consider making a keepsake to hang on your wall or using as coasters using natural wood and a photograph.

Materials required:

  • Lovely photos to transfer
  • Light-colored wood piece or panel
  • Simple photo-editing program
  • Access to a laser printer
  • Scissors
  • Bone folder (edge of a gift card works)
  • Matte gel medium (found in the acrylic paints section of the art store)
  • Mod Podge with your choice of finish (we went with matte)
  • 2 different brushes (can be bristles or foam)
  • Towel rag
  • Scrap paper & towels to protect your work surface
